It should be noted that Hull One World Shop is dedicated to developing Fair Trade in Hull and the surrounding area. The shop opens to the public 6 days per week, 51 weeks per year.
Every day that the shop is open, the opportunity is taken to talk to people about Fair Trade, whether they are long time supporters, or new to the concept.
The shop also provides sale and return packs to local organisations, covering between 300 and 350 events in local churches and businesses. Each Sale and return event is managed by a dedicated volunteer who handles questions with respect to Fairtrade.
This immense trading commitment and educational activity is a major contributor to Fairtrade in the City.
